As times have changed, so has the work of our volunteers; yet their mission and focus has never wavered.
A few years back, Lance Cooper created the Save Flint Challenge because he wanted to support the residents of Flint, Michigan, as they navigated the awful water crisis affecting their town. This support was not only crucial because Flint residents need access to clean water, but also because media interest had faded over time, and it was up to grassroots efforts to keep the support coming in.
Millions of Americans are exposed to unsafe tap water each year. Lance is on a mission to end America's water crisis, and make sure everyone all over the world has access to clean drinking water.

Dionna Brown was a freshman in high school when the water crisis in Flint, Michigan, put her community in disarray. Now 23, she vividly remembers the physical and mental ailments suffered by those exposed to hazardous lead.
Two months and 200,000 cases of water later, the drinking water in Benton Harbor is still unsafe.
